Seychelles
A group of islands set in the azure waters of the Indian Ocean far away from anywhere – welcome to Seychelles, described aptly by the tourism board as ‘as pure as it gets’. It lies four degrees south of the Equator and is blessed with a beautiful tropical weather all year around.
The cool breeze blowing from the Indian Ocean blends with a lush landscape to form a scenery that can only be described as out of this world. There are the granite rocks that literally rise from the seabed on the beaches and palm trees that reach out to the ocean in stark defiance of its power.
Seychelles has been a long favourite of holidaymakers everywhere, and even more so now as a spate of luxury hotels and resorts open up.
